The path to recovery is not a straight line, nor is it the same for each person. Our Medication-Assisted Treatment, or MAT, offers the use of medication to help relieve cravings in combination with counseling and behavioral therapy so clients can work towards recovery.
MAT helps people engage in a meaningful recovery path while providing affordable treatment for substance use disorder. By reducing one’s dependency on alcohol or opiates, MAT paves the way for better family stability, the ability to work and go to school, and healthier pregnancies. In addition to a less painful withdrawal process and fewer drug cravings, clients can see a reduction in criminal activity, risk of overdose, and disease transmission.
Deciding to begin the North Range Medication-Assisted Treatment program means taking a significant step in a journey toward a healthier life. Managing and treating a substance use disorder isn’t easy and, in most cases, cannot be done alone. We believe in the ability to recover and are here to support along the way. Our philosophy is to pair services and support systems to aid in the recovery process, resulting in sustained sobriety, stronger coping skills, and positive relationships.
