Women experience unique barriers to accessing recovery support. This intensive family-centered treatment facility serves pregnant women and women with children, ages 0-5 and helps women recover from substance use disorder and promote family health and self-sufficiency.

Working closely with Early Childhood Services, Wings weaves substance use disorder, adult mental health treatment, and infant early childhood mental health services together under one roof.

As a mother receives treatment for her behavioral health needs, her child is safely down the hall, simultaneously engaging in activities designed to raise and strengthen the child’s protective factors.

Staff at Wings understand appropriate parenting approaches and model interventions to help moms with children’s behaviors. Mothers are supported to strive for their highest potential through exposure to a healthy offering of embedded services that include:

  • Case management
  • Communication/assertiveness classes
  • Employment preparation
  • Health and prenatal care
  • Life skills classes
  • Mindfulness classes to manage stress and parenting
  • Parenting skills groups
  • Primary pediatric care for children
  • Relationship building workshops
  • Whole-family, two-generational approaches
